摘要: The Fanning River Group is among the best exposed marine-dominated Devonian sequences in eastern Australia. It consists of limestone, sandstone and conglomerate shallow marine origin, which form basal sequence Burdekin Basin. Sixteen species subspecies (9 new) rugose corals are described from outcrops Kirkland Downs, Boundary Creek Lime areas; these areas represent north northwestern margins Basin during early Givetian transgression. coral taxa determined as: Lythophyllum proliferum sp. nov., Endophyllum jelli Iowaphyllum schlueteri (Etheridge 1898), Blysmatophyllum isisense Pedder 1970, multigemme Blysmatophyllum? sp., Sanidophyllum kirklandense Spongophyllum (Beugniesastraea) variabilis Australophyllum cyathophylloides yohi subsp.
