摘要: The Paleocene-Eocene series associated with the Oued Thelja area is characterized diversity of depositional environment, evolving from sebkha to deep marine environment. This evolution related occurrence various rock types during interval such as evaporates, carbonates, clays and phosphates. mineralogical results reached by means X-ray diffraction appear reveal that transgression characterizing El Haria Chouabine Formations turns out be dominated clay minerals, carbonate-fluorapatite calcite, which require availability a environment precipitate. As for regression, it represented essentially gypsum dolomite, indicating existence shallow marking Formation. geochemical results, provided through fluorescence, highlight an enrichment SiO2, P2O5 CaO transgression, high amounts SO3, MgO decreasing sea level. stratigraphic framework relevant studied section helps determine eleven third-order sequences, each containing set sedimentary system tract. geochemistry mineralogy should explain sequences eustatic variations basin.
