摘要: Introduction. Proanthocyanidines in grape seed extract (GSE) possess a wide array of pharmacological and biological actions, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, free radical scavenging, vasodilatory properties as well inhibition phospholipase A2, cyclooxygenase, lipooxygenase enzymes. The aim this study was to examine the effects oral administration GSE on renal disturbances due reperfusion injury rats. Materials Methods. Thirty-two male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into 4 groups. They received standard diet for two weeks. During period, one group also normal saline (50 mg/kg) daily. At beginning day 14, 2 groups underwent surgery bilateral ischemia, had sham operation. Urine blood samples taken kidneys removed histologic enzyme studies. control did not receive any solutions have surgery. Results. increased amount plasma creatinine concentration induced by improved administration. In addition, urine osmolality comparison with only group. degrees histological damages oxidative stress that following significantly lower Conclusions. Oral supplementation weeks may decrease stress, result, reduce kidney function injury.
