摘要: The biological characteristics of cancers depend mostly on genetic alterations in the cancer cells individuals. Gastric show a high frequency DNA aneuploidy, phenotype chromosomal instability. Compared to diploid tumors, gastric carcinomas with aneuploidy have been shown proliferative activity and metastatic or invasive potential; these lead poor prognosis. It has suggested that an abnormal spindle assembly checkpoint is involved but underlying mechanism still unclear. This review, order determine whether display are associated poorer prognosis than discuss mechanisms induce summarizes results studies ploidy published English literature. Analysis may provide clinically useful information from diagnostic, therapeutic, prognostic standpoints. Further investigations be needed clarify relationship between chromosome instability ploidy.
