摘要: Experiments have been fired in which the HMX-based explosive EDC37 was subjected to one-dimensional shocks generated by plate impact. The response of sustained shocks, double and a short-pulse shock monitored using embedded particle velocity gauges tracker gauges. final stages growth detonation process were similar for all different input profiles. A strong reactive wave grows accelerates overtake dominate initial shock. It is shown that curves showing experiments can be normalised give universal curves. These provides reference against compare explosive's response, not only single but also inputs. treatment an empirical route predicting effects more complex on EDC37.
