Preparation and characterization of size monodisperse TiO2 nanocrystals and their self-assembled two-and three-dimensional arrays

摘要: Colloidal TiO2 nanocrystals with average diameter of 6 nm were prepared by hydrolysis titanium tetraisoproxide in an acidified aqueous solution. Catechol-terminated long-chain alkanes chemisorbed at the surface nanocrystals, which subsequently recovered centrifugation and redispersed chloroform. Size-selective precipitation was used to isolate size-monodisperse nanocrystal fractions. Elemental analysis, 1H NMR FTIR characterize monolayer catechol-terminated adsorbed these nanocrystals. Small-angle X-ray scattering transmission electron microscopy probe structure both individual their self-assembled two- three-dimensional arrays.
