摘要: Development of an effective microwave antenna is important issue for nondestructive sensing and imaging applications. Recently a one-shot, rapid portable system with PIN diode-loaded resonant elliptical slot has been developed. In this paper new approach feeding used in such systems considered. It includes coupling the transmitted received signals into using out-of-plane (perpendicular) microstrip feed. Three feeds are considered, namely; 90°-bent microstrip-line feed, line proximity feed direct connection to load. The simulation measured results show that 90° bent demonstrates best radiation modulation efficiencies.
