摘要: The aim of the present study was to assess and compare orbital retinal vascular flow dynamics resistance in patients with homozygous sickle cell disease controls by means duplex color Doppler ultrasonography. Forty-six (SCD) 20 healthy subjects were included study. None had objective signs ocular involvement. Duplex ultrasonography ophthalmic, short posterior ciliary, central arterial flows both eyes performed peak systolic velocity (PSFV), end-diastolic (EDFV), mean (MFV) through entire cardiac cycle further calculation resistive indices (RI) pulsatility (PI).
