摘要: As one of the typical solid-wastes, FGD gypsum usually occupies land and causes resource waste environmental pollution. Its high content CaSO4·2H2O shows highly potential in synthesizing CaCO3 by incorporating CO2. Nevertheless, impurities have significant effects on polymorph formation mechanism during carbonation was still unclear. Here, we selected as model to explore muscovite dolomite carbonation. Results showed that products are a mixture vaterite (˜60%) calcite (˜40%), while only pure obtained reaction. Muscovite has negligible obtaining Interestingly, increases maximum value (˜27%) at 1.0 wt% then decreases with increment Correspondingly, declines first increases. Mechanism study hydrophilicity negative surface charge might be key factors selectively form gypsum. These findings contribute further utilization
