摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the corrosion protection of metals by conductive polymers. The carbon steel polymers in an acidic environment proves to be efficient but cannot reduce much pitting trend. In experiment described chapter, Americhem formulated polyaniline (ACl) demonstrated very strong anticorrosion properties both general and local 3.5% NaCl. On contrary, most commercially available materials lack efficiency under same experimental condition. Considerable current a drilled hole can reduced application AC1, it is technologically important because easy processing coating procedures lead satisfactory mechanical strength. However, reformulation (PANI) mixed with binder shows that behaviors ferrous nonferrous alloys influenced intrinsically studied electrochemical noise (ECN), cathodic (CP), impedance spectroscopy (EIS) techniques, which provide better understanding mechanisms. Preliminary inert-gas-aeration results indicate oxygen not factor early immersion period becomes when mode moves anodic protection.
