摘要: Abstract Molten chloride salts can be corrosive to the structural alloys used in nuclear applications where they have been considered as advanced coolants and electrolytes. This paper investigates corrosion of Alloy 709 Inconel 718 KCl-LiCl-EuCl3 molten salt. Europium is found very salts, which results rapid release ionic nickel iron products, formation oxide byproducts Cr2O3, FeCr2O4, NiO melt. suffered uniform 35 μm 120 h, while was thinned by >86 μm with severe cracking void attacks.
