摘要: Abstract Three different clones have been isolated from a genomic library of the silkmoth Antheraea polyphemus by employing subtractive hybridization technique. The with inserts 13–16 kb DNA each, code for mRNAs expressed in wing epidermis during JH induced second pupal cuticle deposition. While two single mRNA third one codes mRNAs. All four distinct polypeptides that can be precipitated antibodies raised against cuticular proteins. These genes are activated at same period development and their transcripts follow similar patterns accumulation. Although these tissue time specific manner attesting to epidermal specificity, three them adult also, but not larval stage. DNAs other silkmoths insects hybridize genes, only A. hybridizes RNA wings tested.
