摘要: Abstract Quality assurance in coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) surgery requires a comparison of operative mortality against an accepted standard care. Raw statistics are unacceptable this context, and risk factor analysis is essential. However, principle has not been adequately demonstrated previous reports. Our goal study was to develop model CABG illustrate its proper use surgery. The derived from Bayesian 6,630 patients undergoing the Coronary Artery Surgery Study (CASS) registry. Age, sex, ventricular function, myocardial infarction, extent disease, unstable angina, surgical priority were used by sort into categories. From January 1984 through December 1987, 840 underwent isolated at our hospital. With raw data, 3.9% ( 33 / ) significantly different 2.3% 153 CASS p
