摘要: Abstract The effect of compressibility on the structure turbulence is an important, but difficult, topic in modeling. Modeling issues production, dissipation and transport turbulent kinetic energy need to be addressed account for Mach number effects. In present review, investigated context engineering models needed complex flow computations, particularly k−e model. Issues such as dissipative nature compressibility, complexities arising due non-divergent velocity field, added time-scale a non-equilibrium between rates production energy, enthalpic term representing baroclinic effect, have been discussed facilitate inclusion these terms solution compressible fields. Flows characterized by strong streamline curvature inhomogeneities shocks rapid expansions, form supersonic past axi-symmetric afterbody hypersonic projectile, adopted computational assessment aspects.
