摘要: Nitriding of metals and steel is well established in surface engineering, gas nitriding used most frequently. The addition oxygen may be advantageous for the high chromium steel. Recently, laser nitriding, i. e. nitrogen take-up from upon irradiation a with short pulses, has been discovered first applications have found. Mossbauer spectroscopy one choices research. Here processes oxinitriding are compared it will demonstrated how combination complementary methods (RNRA, GDOS, Nanoindentation) can help to reveal basic mechanisms both cases.
