摘要: Background: In 2014, a recommended one-dose of inactivated hepatitis A vaccine was included in the Brazilian National Immunization Program targeting children 12–24 months. This decision addressed low to intermediate endemicity status across Brazil and high rate infection adolescents between 5 19 years old. The aim study conduct time-series analysis on incidence age groups assess distribution throughout geographic regions. Methods: An interrupted performed rates before (2010–2013) after (2015–2018) program implementation. stratified by while secondary examined cases. Results: Overall decreased from 3.19/100.000 pre-vaccine period 0.87/100.000 (p = 0.022) post-vaccine introduction. Incidence reduction higher among aged 1-4 old, with an annual 67.6% post-vaccination against 7.7% pre-vaccination < 0.001). Between 2015 2018, vaccination prevented 14,468 Conclusion: Our highlighted positive impact for 1–4-years-old controlling at national level.
