摘要: Analysis of trace metals from sediment and fish collected eight locations in Lake Manzala, Egypt, during May, June July 2011, indicated anthropogenic impacts. The highest concentrations metals, except Mn Sr, were detected at Bahr Al-Baqar (S1) which drains Cairo. At the other sampling locations, selected fall below levels concern while geo-accumulation index (Igeo) suggests unpolluted conditions for majority studied most sites. However, near drain Ag, Hg Zn above Long Morgan's (1990) effects range low (ERL) Pb was their median (ERM). Igeo values suggest to moderately polluted condition As Sn, Zn, moderate extremely severely Al-Baqar. Two sites (Legan, S5, Al-Ginka, S8) by as Ag two (West Bashar, S3, Al Dehdy, S6) Ag. Legan Al-Ginka also being Zn. Similar sediments, tissue (S1). all comparable known cause lesions fish. limits set FAO.
