摘要: This article focuses on geographic variability in patient access to kidney transplantation the United States. It examines differences and trends rates transplantation, component of wait-listing, living deceased donor transplantation. Using data from Centers for Medicare Medicaid Services Organ Procurement Transplantation Network/Scientific Registry Transplant Recipients, we studied 700 000+ patients under 75, who began chronic dialysis treatment, received their first transplant, or were placed waiting list pre-emptively. Relative wait-listing by State calculated using Cox regression models, adjusted demographics. There a transplant. Adjusted wait-list ranged 37% lower 64% higher than national average. The rate 57% 166% higher, while transplant 60% 150% In general, States with tended have had rates. Six demonstrated both high six others, plus D.C. Puerto Rico, below average parameters.
