摘要: The epidemiological evidence suggests a strong inverse relationship between dietary intake of cruciferous vegetables and the incidence cancer. Among other constituents vegetables, isothiocyanates (ITC) are main bioactive chemicals present. Phenethyl isothiocyanate (PEITC) is present as gluconasturtiin in many with remarkable anti-cancer effects. PEITC known to not only prevent initiation phase carcinogenesis process but also inhibit progression tumorigenesis. targets multiple proteins suppress various cancer-promoting mechanisms such cell proliferation, metastasis. Pre-clinical that combination conventional agents highly effective improving overall efficacy. Based on accumulating evidence, appears be promising agent for cancer therapy already under clinical trials leukemia lung This first review which provides comprehensive analysis along critical evaluation future agent.
