摘要: Background The Rotator Cuff Quality of Life Index (RC-QOL) was developed to evaluate quality life in patients with rotator cuff disorders (RCD). purpose this study provide additional reliability, validity, and responsiveness testing accordance the Consensus-Based Standards for Selection Health Measurement Instruments (COSMIN) guidelines. Methods Preliminary patient interviews included 15 patients. Seventy (mean age, 58; standard deviation, 9 years) RCD were evaluated. Methodology internal consistency, test-retest measurement error, content construct validity. Responsiveness, interpretability, generalizability also analyzed. Results Cronbach α 0.96 (95% confidence interval, 0.89-0.99; range, 0.72-0.94). intraclass correlation coefficient RC-QOL 0.87 0.79-0.85; 0.77-0.88). error 8 (range, 7-13). smallest detectable change 3 2-4). Content validity confirmed through standardized interviews. All a priori hypotheses confirmed. No floor or ceiling effects present. minimally clinical important difference ranged between 7 14 points. met COSMIN criteria interpretability generalizability. Conclusion is reliable valid measure health-related chronic RCD. results added methodologic assessment RC-QOL, completing 10 criteria.
