摘要: Since the first description of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMNs) pancreas in eighties, their identification has dramatically increased last decades, hand to with improvements diagnostic imaging and sampling techniques for study pancreatic diseases. However, heterogeneity IPMNs malignant potential make difficult management these lesions. The objective this review is identify molecular characteristics order recognize markers discrimination more aggressive requiring surgical resection from benign that could be observed. We briefly summarize recent research findings on genetics epigenetics neoplasms, identifying some genes, mechanisms cellular signaling pathways correlated pathogenesis progression malignancy. knowledge biology impressively developed over few years. A great amount genes functioning as oncogenes or tumor suppressor have been identified, juice blood samples resections, but further researches are required use informations clinical intent, better define natural history diseases improve management.
