摘要: Abstract : Some key features of a mathematical description an immune response are estimate the number responding cells and manner in which those divide, differentiate, die. The intracellular dye CFSE is powerful experimental tool for analysis population dividing cells, numerous treatments have been aimed at using data to describe response. Recently, partial differential equation structured models, with measured fluorescence intensity as structure variable, shown accurately fit histogram obtained from flow cytometry experiments. In this report, mathematically organized into compartments, all single compartment having undergone same divisions. A system equations derived can be directly data. From such model, cell counts (in terms divisions undergone) computed thus biological parameters doubling time precursor viability determined. Mathematical aspects compartmental model discussed, set. We find temporal division dependence rates proliferation death essential Variability cellular autofluorescence found play significant role data, well. Finally, compared previous work statistical discussed.
