Nature of OH maser and SiO thermal emission towards carbon star: IRAS 05373-0810 (V1187 Ori)

摘要: We present observational evidence that IRAS 05373-0810 is a genuine carbon star with an ISO SWS spectrum closely resembling of RScl. Modelling the spectral energy distribution IRAS05373-0810 ;suggests has luminosity order 8000 L(.) and loses mass at rate about 2-3 x 10(-7) M(.) yr(-1). The detected OH maser emission 1612, 1665 1667 MHz arid SiO thermal 86.85 GHz towards not associated this source. available observations imply these lines, typical for O-rich sources, come from molecular cloud L 1641 in Orion forming region (OH) and. very likely, NGC 2149 complex (SiO).
