摘要: This paper demonstrates the feasibility of an advanced concept traffic control for congested urban arterials in intelligent transportation system (ITS) setting. The core idea new is to integrate capability dynamic adaptive signals with dynamically optimized time-dependent variable speed. Under such control, speeds would be automatically and set by a central computer parallel other signal parameters. Speed parameters change between links over time, response changing conditions. Drivers follow speed as they enter link. Once optimal has been link, it remains constant until cycle ends. Link updated only at end every cycle. may length conditions evolve. was tested on arterial multiple links. modeled discrete event time var...
