摘要: The riparian zone is a river-land ecotone, and its environmental conditions have significant effect on the river ecosystem population health. In this study, As, Cu, Cr, Cd, Mn, Fe, Ni, Pb, Zn in topsoils of urban zones subtropical city southeast China were quantitatively estimated by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry. geoaccumulation index health risk evaluation model adopted to assess accumulation characteristic residents' exposure metals. Principle component analysis was used determine source results showed that mean contents metals (except Fe) higher than soil background value, but none metal exceeded mass limit quality standards. order Cd > Mn Cu Cr Pb As Ni Fe. contamination level classified as slight, whereas other did not contribute pollution. spatial distribution compatible with pattern functional adjacent areas, where levels commercial under-construction land residential industrial areas. Carcinogenic risks acceptable. hazard indicated no noncarcinogenic from any However, for children adults, primary route into human body ingestion inhalation adults. sources Fe pedogenic processes mineral weathering, Zn, mainly originated anthropogenic sources, specifically, transportation emission, industry waste, coal combustion pigments/paint buildings, greening, consumer emission.
