摘要: Cervical spondylotic radiculopathy (CSR) is the most general form of spinal degenerative disease and characterized by pain numbness neck arm. Gentongping (GTP) granule, as a classical Chinese patent medicine, has been widely used in curing CSR, whereas underlying mechanism remains unclear. Therefore, aim this study to explore pharmacological mechanisms GTP on CSR. The rat model CSR was induced cord injury (SCI). Our results showed that could significantly alleviate spontaneous well ameliorate gait. HE staining Western blot increase quantity motoneuron enhance activation peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPAR-γ) tissues. Meanwhile, immunofluorescence analysis indicated reduce expression TNF-α Furthermore, protein level Bax decreased levels Bcl-2 NF200 were increased after treatment. These findings demonstrated might modulate PPAR-γ pathway inhibiting inflammatory response apoptosis protecting cytoskeletal integrity cord, ultimately play neuroprotective role
