摘要: Pitombo, F. B. (2004). Phylogenetic analysis of the Balanidae (Cirripedia, Balanomorpha). —Zoologica Scripta, 33, 261–276. Our concept family has undergone many changes since it was originally proposed, and is now a more circumscribed group. Nevertheless, there are no studies phylogenetic relationships among its currently recognized subfamilies: Balaninae, Concavinae Megabalaninae. Here, new suite characters presented, thus allowing better evaluation systematics A fourth subfamily, Amphibalaninae, proposed to accommodate Amphibalanus gen. nov. allies, Perforatus transferred (all formerly Balaninae). performed. The results showed that Balaninae basal other three subfamilies as well Concavinae, Megabalaninae forms monophyletic Hypotheses character evolution presented discussed. As general pattern, have most derived structures, such extension lateral margin sheath, inner face radii with longitudinal abutment, basis multilayered (vesicular) spur infolded margins.
