摘要: Unlike in the case of glucose utilization, there is an ongoing debate on which kinetic model might be best suitable for description amino acid metabolism, order to facilitate a quantitative interpretation PET data obtained from applications acids. Although these have been mostly investigations tumors, basic questions uptake processes normal brain can addressed, using sets, by analyzing reference regions and non-tumorous areas. Some protocols especially designed establish protein synthesis increase knowledge about transport mechanisms.
