Measurement of natural environmental radioactivity and estimation of population exposure in Bihac, Bosnia and Herzegovina

摘要: This work presents measurements of activity concentrations and estimation population exposure from the naturally occurring radionuclides 238U, 232Th, 40K in various surface soil formations Bihac city. From measured gamma-ray spectra, were determined for 232Th with respective average values 54 ± 3 Bq kg−1, 41 1 kg−1 367 17 kg−1. Calculation absorbed dose rates had value 65.10 nGy h−1. The corresponding annual effective equivalent indoors an 0.319 mSv year−1, outdoors 0.080 year−1.
