摘要: A ground plane aperture technique is developed for effective enhancement of the capacitive coupling factor in a parallel-coupled microstrip line (PCML). By applying so-called 'short-open calibration' (SOC) scheme fullwave method moments (MoM) algorithm, this PCML with two external lines characterised by an equivalent J-inverter network its susceptance and electrical lengths. Extracted parameters indicate that appears to be frequency-dependent maximum value rises rapidly as widened. With introduction single section between identical PCMLs, broadband compact multi-pole bandpass filter proposed first time, behaviour studied optimised on basis circuit network. The network-based results are confirmed EM simulation entire layout, featuring ultra-broadband four-pole behaviour. Further, capacitively loaded utilised formulate filter, effects also discussed design. predicted measured confirm attractive properties BW=60%. |S/sub 11/|<-16 dB 220% wide upper stop-band.
