摘要: Superhydrophobic surfaces as well as low adhesion and friction are desirable for various industrial applications. Certain plant leaves are known to be hydrophobic in nature due to their roughness and the presence of a thin wax film on the surface of the leaf. The purpose of this study is to fully characterize the leaf surfaces on the micro-and nanoscale while separating out the effects of the micro-and the nanobumps of hydrophobic leaves on the hydrophobicity.
