摘要: To assess the potential use of hyaluronic acid (HA) as adjuvant therapy in rheumatoid arthritis, anti-inflammatory and chondroprotective effects HA were analysed experimental rat antigen-induced arthritis (AIA). Lewis rats with AIA subjected to short-term (days 1 8, n = 10) or long-term 1, 15 22, intra-articular treatment microbially manufactured, high-molecular-weight (molecular weight, 1.7 × 106 Da; 0.5 mg/dose). In both tests, 10 buffer-treated served arthritic controls six healthy animals normal controls. Arthritis was monitored by weekly assessment joint swelling histological evaluation test (day 8) 29). Safranin O staining employed detect proteoglycan loss from epiphyseal growth plate articular cartilage knee joint. Serum levels IL-6, tumour necrosis factor alpha glycosaminoglycans measured ELISA/kit systems 8 did not significantly influence but suppress early chronic 15, P < 0.05); however, tended aggravate completely prevented on day induced 29. Similarly, inhibited signs acute inflammation damage test, augmented well test. alpha, influenced HA. Local therapeutic are clearly biphasic, inhibition phase promotion swelling, late phase.
