摘要: Mouse inbred strains with inherited predisposition and resistance to lung cancer provide a tool for the dissection of complex genetics this disease. In present report, we have crossed BALB/c SWR/J strain performed whole-genome scanning loci affecting tumor development in their F2 progeny. Both parental carry pulmonary adenoma susceptibility 1 ( Pas1 ) locus, major locus mice. On distal chromosome 18 on centromere 6, mapped two Par2 Par4 , respectively), which reduce multiplicity strongly, up 15-fold. however, do not affect size, is instead controlled by an additional that central region 4. We designated as “pulmonary progression 1” Papg1 ), because it specifically modifies size but multiplicity. The results, therefore, evidence existence modifier acting specific stages tumorigenesis.
