摘要: BackgroundThe knee joint is the second most commonly injured body site and leading cause of high school sports-related surgeries. Knee injuries are among economically costly sports may require subsequent surgery or extensive expensive rehabilitation.PurposeTo report incidence, risk, severity across sports, genders, type exposure.Study DesignDescriptive epidemiology study.MethodsDuring 2005–2006 2006–2007 years, 100 US schools were randomly selected for a nationally representative sample.
