摘要: Progesterone LH and FSH were measured in the plasma of 4 female roe deer (2 kept with buck, 2 separated from buck to prevent mating) July until end September or October, i.e. including rutting season middle August. At least two distinct peaks observed before first small progesterone increase lasting for about 5 days late July. The next clear peak and, slight individual variations, occurred exactly when values fallen they rose again a major elevation, after ovulation. some generally basal while was high during rest study. There no obvious differences hormone pattern pregnant non-pregnant animals.
