SPECTROSCOPIC ISOTOPE SHIFT AND NUCLEAR DEFORMATIONS

摘要: With a method developed in previous paper the isotope shift due to difference nuclear deformation of two isotopes is calculated, making certain simplifying assumptions about charge distribution. If both have spectroscopic quadrupole moment these may then be used make an estimate deformations. It found that between intrinsic and moments quite crucial when this taken into account anomalously large Eu satisfactorily explained with experimentally determined moments. Using available data on magnetic moments, tentative examination other terms dependent indicates perhaps explain observed variations.
