摘要: Magnetism based of the 5f-states in light actinides can he very vaguely characterized as a phenomenon spanning range between 3d-hand magnetism transition metals and localized 4f states regular lanthanides. The tunability degree delocalization 5f-electronic states, which depends on overlap 5f wave functions centered neighbouring sites, strength ligand hybridization, makes indeed possible to reach, depending crystal structure, stoichiometry, type constituents, large variety types ground state. narrow 5f-band regime, into most materials fall, means much higher complexity problem due prominent role 5f-electron correlations. Additional non-standard feature is crucial relativistic phenomena. last ingredient leads, for example, strong orbital polarization even strongly itinerant systems, coupling spin system lattice, both being consequence spin-orbit interaction.
