摘要: Abstract Glaciers flow velocity is an important parameter for the study of glacier dynamics, mass balance and climate change, can provide precursory warning melting induced flooding, debris flowing, etc. The Tuomuer-Khan Tengri Mountain Range one largest glaciated areas in Tian Shan Mountain. However, knowledge motion this area still rather limited. Using method robust Offset-tracking four pairs PALSAR images covering Range, paper estimates displacement fields mountain glaciers each pair. are then mapped into daily velocities by dividing acquiring intervals a series checkpoints selected stationary where displacements be assumed to zero, we evaluate estimation error find that most them less than 2.17 cm/day. analyzed detail with regards bed terrain glacial temperature thickness. We they excellent accordance characteristic typical glaciers. changes among observation years have been carefully examined. This along associated runoff measurements makes us conclude assumedly dynamic equilibrium between intensified increased precipitation glaciation, their will maintain stable near future. also altitudes peaks close recorded snowline, which indicates detecting peaks' position might reference monitoring snowlines.
