摘要: Polyethersulfone (PES) hollow fiber membranes were fabricated using water and polyvinylpyrrolidone as additives N-methyl pyrrolidinone solvent. Asymmetric spun by the dry-wet phase inversion method. A charged surface modifying macromolecule (cSMM) was synthesized blended into PES dope. The modification of with cSMM evaluated via contact angle measurement, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), differential calorimetry (DSC), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR-ATR) ionic solute separation performance. Experimental results showed that pure permeation flux increased cSMM, which at same time produced higher rejection. From FESEM, a small increase in thickness outer layer noticed when modified blending. Nevertheless, there no significant difference overall membrane morphology between without blending, indicating base polymer remained practically unchanged. On other hand, DSC scan FTIR analysis confirmed miscibility presence cSMM's functional group, respectively.
