摘要: The value of quantifying active contraction area to guide oxytocin titration in augmentation labour was investigated by a randomised trial. Sixty-eight nulliparae with slow progress had titrated achieve preset "optimal" or frequency contractions manner. There no difference maternal characteristics age and height, pre-augmentation period observed cervical dilatation at the onset between 2 groups. maximum dose oxytocin, post-augmentation number operative deliveries were similar. mean birth weight neonates, neonates who low Apgar score acidotic cord arterial blood pH. Our results suggest that there may be advantage compared uterine labour.
