摘要: Recent advances in the characterisation and modelling of microstresses developed between grains phases a polycrystal are reviewed. The evolution materials needs to be understood acknowledged when interpreting diffraction-based measurements residual stress fields. Measurements associated microstrains can used test self-consistent models for polycrystalline deformation texture evolution. Microstress development face-centred cubic metals is now well understood, progress being made other crystal systems two phase materials.
