摘要: Age-associated impaired function of the immune system seems to be a major contributory factor increased frequency morbidity and mortality. Ageing affects different cell types, including hematopoietic stem cells, lymphoid progenitors in bone marrow thymus, thymic stromal mature lymphocytes secondary organs, elements innate system. Importantly, significant alterations are seen T lymphocyte compartment. Age-related evident all stages development making them element immunosenescence. Recent studies showed that regulatory subset CD4+ cells with immunoregulatory activities, also affected by ageing. The age-related Tregs, mechanisms underlying Treg homeostasis, functions ageing described this chapter.
