摘要: Cancer stem cells (CSCs) are rare in cancer population, but they can reconstruct the whole bulk of tumor if most killed by radiotherapy or chemotherapy. However, mechanism CSCs’ self-renewal, regeneration and therapeutic resistance is still unknown. Here we discuss role CSCs relapse progression, as well their diagnostic potentials. We also confer biomarkers pre-clinical models clinical trials to evaluate effectiveness CSCs. In addition, potential strategies eradicating tumors, such cytotoxic, radiation, signaling pathway differentiation therapies.
