摘要: Experiments were performed to determine the rate of recolonization sediment-associated microalgae and effects infauna on microalgal biomass production. Estuarine sediment was defaunated transplanted field laboratory. Recolonization by flora fauna, relative control sediment, measured chlorophyll a, gross primary production, community Oo uptake infaunal abundance, sampled at Days 1, 10, 40. Microalgal colonization in was, rapid, with a returning levels Day 10. Infaunal density returned within 40 d. In experiment, may have been confounded both rapid recolomzation import microalgae. The laboratory experiment reduced these problems. Removal laboratory, primarily tanaids, increased growth. After d, 4 times greater production 2 than controls. Grazing appeared be mechanism control. Patterns 0, difficult interpret showed no simple relationship density. These experiments indicate that estuarine is one factors controlling sedimentassociated
