摘要: Among numerous risk factors for coronary artery disease (CAD), including family history, hypertension, diabetes mellitus and dyslipidemia, the single most modifiable factor is smoking. Smoking cessation known CAD patients has recognized immediate long term benefits, namely reduction in chance of symptom recurrence death. This article a description an evaluation smoking intervention by primary care providers who smoke with history within 1 year diagnosis. Nola J. Pender’s revised Health Promotion Model was framework this non-experimental, quality assurance study using descriptive retrospective chart review rural practice clinic southern United States.
