摘要: This paper presents the findings of a laboratory study that aimed to evaluate effect recycled tire rubber content and gradation on properties denste asphalt mixtures. It was considered two ranges particle sizes, which substituted part mineral aggregates in mixture gradation. The modified mixtures ("dry process") were compared control without rubber. For evaluation mechanical properties, submitted three tests: dynamic indirect tension for determination resilient modulus; tensile strength under tension; resistance rutting wheel-tracking device. results show smaller particles increase rutting. presented values modulus than mixture. test showed size percentage affected properties: higher content, strength. had no influence values. use paving industry can contribute minimize problems related disposal used tires and, at same time, improve some engineering covering abstract see ITRD E118499.
