摘要: In this chapter, some basic fracture mechanics parameters are introduced. Attention is restricted at stage to a description of the various and numerical approximate methods for their estimation. The use results develop models creep crack incubation growth considered in Chapter 5. As principles elastic elastic—plastic covered extensively number books [1–4], only brief given here. More extensive coverage relevant creeping materials given, including energy which play an important role determination. Most chapter limited behaviour structures containing stationary cracks. It transpires that analysis cracks can often be extended quite simply growing section 4.5.4 examines conditions under simple extension made structures.
