摘要: Abstract Precise measurements of the evaporation rates single submicron low-volatility liquid droplets have been made to test available theoretical and semi-theoretical analyses aerosol in diffusion-controlled Knudsen regimes. By suspending a charged droplet an electric field polarized laser beam size was determined as function time using Mie theory interpret light-scattering data. New data for dibutyl sebacate (DBS) evaporating into helium, nitrogen carbon dioxide reported earlier dioctyl phthalate (DOP) helium are compared with predictions rates.
