摘要: microRNA (miRNA) sponges are RNA molecules with repeated miRNA binding sequences that can sequester miRNAs from their endogenous target mRNAs, and a stably expressed sponge is particularly valuable for long-term loss-of-function studies in vitro vivo. Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) the most common primary brain tumor adults characterized by extraordinarily angiogenic, invasive migratory capabilities, hallmark features make disease incurable. Nonetheless, improvements clinical treatment better understanding of underlying molecular mechanisms have been achieved within past few decades. miR-23b has previously found to function as oncogene GBM. In present study, we employed an was forcibly using lentiviral vector knock down expression vivo assessed pleiotropic effects on glioma angiogenesis, invasion migration. We demonstrated inhibition cell lines orthotopic mouse models resulted reduction malignancy, through downregulation HIF-1α, β-catenin, MMP2, MMP9, VEGF ZEB1 increased VHL E-cadherin. Therefore, suggest this could be developed into promising anticancer therapy either alone or combination current targeted therapies.
