摘要: Winter maintenance, particularly snow removal and the stress of materials on public structures, is an enormous budgetary burden municipalities nongovernmental maintenance organizations in cold climates. Lately, geospatial technologies such as remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), decision support tools are providing a valuable tool for planning operations. A few researchers recently used to develop winter tools. However, most these tools, while having potential address some needs, not typically placed hands planners other interested stakeholders.
